Astoria espresso machines at Cheese 2017 as a Slow Food technical partner!
Espresso coffee is not only made of organoleptic properties: it is the quality of the system that makes the difference, giving life to a good, clean and perfect Italian espresso. The technical partnership between Astoria and Slow Food rests upon this important conviction: two different but parallel worlds, increasingly linked by a common vision of excellence that aims to restore the right value to coffee culture, in harmony with environment and ecosystems, thanks to knowledge treasured by safeguarding protocols and local traditions.
Do you want to know more? Do not miss Cheese 2017, Milk Forms, the international event dedicated to quality dairy, organized by Slow Food and held on the streets and squares of Bra, in the province of Cuneo, where more than 300 exhibitors from 23 nations (2015 data) will gather.
From 15 to 18 September 2017, the Astoria Coffee Truck will function as Slow Food Cafeteria, offering visitors the experience of excellent espresso coffee with the top of the Plus 4 You TS range, a low-environmental impact espresso machine which reduces consumption to up to 47.6%, compared to traditional machines. A coffee break conceived as a true moment of relaxation during which, between one sip and the next, it will be possible to learn about the value asset with which Astoria contributes to Slow Food’s “coffee system” for innovation in coffee culture.
Astoria’s Slow Espresso Experience, an industrial philosophy that combines the sensory experience of tasting with sustainability, biodiversity conservation, innovation, transparency and responsibility towards customers, will also be the focus at Caffè Letterario of Palazzo Garrone, a space dedicated to lectures on current issues and, in the afternoon, turned into a lounge area with musical accompaniment, where another Plus 4 You TS will be in operation. Here, every morning, coffee and pastries by Sapori will be served for breakfast, while throughout the day, you can enjoy great coffees accompanied by Baratti & Milano chocolates.
In the press room and in the Slow Food offices, there will be some Astoria’s Greta compact machines, whose high performance and great reliability make it ideal for work environments.
“The partnership with Slow Food has naturally evolved from sharing important values, such as product compliance and biodiversity conservation, environmental sustainability and energy saving, waste reduction and efficient water use”, said Roberto Marchetto, Head of Relations with Slow Food. “After the positive experiences at Terra Madre Salone del Gusto and Slow Fish, Astoria has developed a set up fully dedicated to the Slow Coffee value system that will debut at Cheese 2017”.
