Sigep 2018: Astoria presents Storm to confectionery professionals!

Astoria is delighted to be attending this year’s Sigep, the leading international fair for the gelato, pastry, bread and coffee sectors. Taking place at the Rimini Exhibition Centre from 20th to 24th January 2018, the event represents a unique opportunity to network and discover new trends in coffee consumption outside of Italy – a market of increasing strategic importance.

The Susegana-based company will be present at this important event (find them in pavilion D1 – stand 001) complete with its leading models: the HYbrid, the Core600 and the Sabrina. Pride of place will be reserved for the Storm, the latest offering from Astoria for professional baristas which has received a tremendous response since it was unveiled at Host Milano. A fully-functioning Storm machine will be available to anyone who wants to try out its technical features. These include innovative Super Dry technology which keeps steam “dry” by means of a second heating spout, producing milk with the perfect consistency every time. This type of foam makes the ideal starting point for intricate Latte Art decorations, a much sought-after skill in exclusive coffee bars and Italian cake shops, or pasticcerie, which set great store by surprising and indulging their customers, transforming a simple meet-up for coffee into a work of art.

In addition to providing top-quality espresso and cappuccino, the Storm is also distinguished by its “green” credentials (with an energy saving of up to 47.6% compared to traditional coffee machines) and by its elegant style and refined looks thanks to the use of the finest materials: stainless steel and aluminum, with wood for the handles and base. The Storm is a valuable asset for public settings where environmental sustainability is high on the agenda, as well as for all the latest trendy hang-outs.
