From 24 to 27 September, Astoria will be at the PIR Moscow Expo 2018, the reference event for the Ho.Re.Ca. sector where the new Storm coffee machine will debut on the Russian market.
For the Treviso-based company, which opened a branch in Moscow’s Portplaza Business Center last November, this is the second back-to-back participation with its own stand (No. 3B130, Pav. 3, Hall 15) in this important event that takes place every year at Moscow’s Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center.
At the Fair, Astoria will also be the official sponsor of Coffee Arena, the stage of two prestigious competitions, the Latte Art Battle and the selections for the 2019 World Barista Championships, record events for Russia, in which more than 45 baristas are expected to participate, challenging one another using Astoria Plus4 Champion coffee machines.
PIR Expo 2018 marks Storm’s official debut on the Russian market. The coffee machine designed by Astoria to meet the needs of the most experienced and passionate baristas will be featured in matt black and red versions with chrome details. Its many innovative technical features will be on display, and include extraction customization by extraction curve memorization, pre-infusion, flow and temperature control and the innovative “cool-touch” steam wand.
“We are witnessing a progressive growth of baristas’ professionalism, and are very happy about that”” says Guido Delcogliano, Astoria Sales Manager. “Therefore, there could be no better time to introduce Storm to baristas, and coffee and restaurant professionals.”
Storm is a real asset that facilitates a barista’s work and, in addition to ensuring quality coffee and cappuccinos, stands out for its “green” technology, that allows reducing consumption by 47.6% compared to traditional coffee machines, and for its refined aesthetics, enhanced by noble materials such as wood, stainless steel and aluminum.
At the Astoria stand at PIR Expo 2018, Astoria will showcase Plus 4 You TS, with its latest generation touch-screen capacitive technology; elegant Sabrina, inspired by a 1960’s vintage look; HYbrid, the bridge between traditional and super-automatic espresso machines; and, its most user-friendly Core600 and Drive6000.
